Yellowstone at Deep Creek Lake ("DCL") is a Western
Maryland based company with its attention focused on a warm
and friendly personal touch with you, the customer. Unlike many
companies in our industry, you will meet and talk with the owners.
We research, specify and order our products the way we want
them. The owners are on site to perform and supervise the work.
This personal initiative is an integral part of building our
reputation as a leader in our industry.
Yellowstone at DCL has carefully
chosen to use standing dead timber for its stable nature. All
wood will reach a moisture and stability equilibrium with its
surrounding environment. Forest, nutrient availability, climate
and standing dead harvest are key elements to ensuring stability
of the log products used in your log home.
Independent inspecting, grading
and stamping further ensures suitability and structural integrity
of all log components used in our log homes. Hands-on logsmithing
and project management through the entire process of building
a custom log home is the final element in the way Yellowstone
at Deep Creek Lake is building our homes one log at time and our
reputation, one family at a time.
