Chink Style Construction
Yellowstone at DCL Log Homes are crafted using
the most advanced products and materials. Log builder adhesive
sealant is used between each course of log. Timbermate oly screws
are used to fasten each course of logs to the log course below.
All exterior joints are caulked prior to sealing.
If you are looking for a semi-chinked look,
all the exterior joints can be caulked with a contrasting color
after the sealing has been completed.
Chinked-style construction has gained popularity
over the past few years. Chinking can be done to the exterior
and/or interior log joints to give you that aesthetic look of
a chinked log home.
